Description
The Performance Series wheels offer the much-applauded ride characteristics all Onyx Racing Products hubs are known for at a new price point without sacrifices in quality, performance or durability. The Performance Series wheels are built around Classic or Vesper hubs with Newmen Evolution A.30 29″ rims.
- Boost spacing: 110/15mm and 148/12mm hub dimensions.
- ISO 6-bolt or Centerlock disc rotor mount.
- 28 or 32H spoke count.
- A wide assortment of colours! All the colour options listed employ anodized surface finish with the exception of Anti-freeze Green and Black Aura colours. The widgets/end caps are anodized black by default.
- Newmen Evolution A.30 29″ rims employ the same shape, construction and dimensions as seen in the highly regarded SL series rims. The rims have an inner width of 30mm and offer an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. The main differentiating factor between the SL series rims is the alloy used.
- Wheels are laced 3-cross with Sapim Race spokes and Sapim brass nipples, both in black colour. Wheels are shipped tubeless-ready.
- Available with all common freewheel driver body standards: Shimano HG (aluminium or chromoly), Sram XD(R) (aluminium or chromoly) and Shimano Micro Spline.

Choosing between Classic and Vesper hubs? The Vesper product line is our lightest cross-country and trail hub. The Classic product line is designed for heavier activities like electric-assist bikes, bike packing, tandems and bigger riders.
The Vesper hubs are the leading choice for XC, trail and even light enduro riding. The Classic hubs on the other hand are up for the task even in the most heavy-duty applications, such as EMTB , bike packing etc.
In addition to the wider sprag clutch mechanism used in the Classic hub, the bearing sizes used are larger and the hubs are supplied with hybrid ceramic bearings by default.
Ordering & Leadtime
All wheels are built to order. The lead time is 5-7 workinh days from the order. Shipping time depends on the country of destination.
